Just.. stuff.

My brain has jumped around today like a can of Mexican Jumping beans. The new ones. Not the old all-jumped-out-ones.

I read a little of the Book of The Watchers today - which is a portion of the Book of Enoch (which is remotely related to a bunch of Enochian stuff that seems to have resurfaced lately). The Watchers, in occult lore are these guys. And that is, in fact, what that book of Enoch was about. Again, pondering and processing the scheme of things.

I wonder about the motivation of Yahweh that mankind was to remain so ‘pure’ but that his ‘Watchers’ were obviously imperfect. If his/her watchers are imperfect, what does that say about Yahweh? I guess, when you think about it, no one ever said Yahweh was perfect. There were claims that Jesus was - who was fabled to be a form of Yahweh. But at any rate..…

Hardware Moistness

Monday, June 28, 2004 9:03 No Comments

I got a DVRyan burner and a video card for my birthday this weekend.. *moan* *moist* Well, the video card wasnt really BIRTHDAY, but I got it from Ryan last week and installed both of them over the weekend so that counts, yeah?

So I change my style, start dressing like a girl, start talking californian and get all domesticated and shiznit with muh baby.. and then I get all moist over computer hardware and it reminds me I’m still a tech geek at heart. *sigh*

She said moist. Hah.. makes you look at ‘moist towelettes‘ in a whole new light, yeah :)

(That link, btw, much like the Elongated Penny link, has the potential to be a post unto itself.)

Call me Grace

You know those kinds of people that always know what to say and how to act… always impeccably? And they are so self assured and hang out with people who are equally self assured - because everything they are is perfect?

Yeah.. I’m not one of those people. I can always manage to pull some atrociously ungraceful something-or-other out of my hat at the most inopportune times. I’m so classy and.. VIP.

“Hi.. my name is Carrie. Oh, is that a foot you have? I’ve eaten mine already.. could I have some of yours?” …yumyumyumfootfootmmmmffffyumyum… Oh, what a wonderful tasting knee you have.”

The New Place and News From Back East

Sunday, June 27, 2004 13:24 No Comments

The sun is shining and there are sea gulls outside. Mmmm.. I love Cali. :)

I’m keep thinking of new stuff to be excited about about the new place. :) Palomar College will be right up the street from us and in-state classes there are still $11/credit hour. That will be nice.. smile. I’m going to start getting all my english and math credits out of the way in the fall. At 20-30 bucks a class and a great location, you cant beat that. :)

AND.. the new place will be really close to work.. so Ryan and I can come home for lunch which will be nice.. and maybe we can put a certain birthday present to use during the noon hour.. *evil grin* And even if we dont on LUNCH, the kids room will be on the OTHER side of the apartment now.. mmmm… *nods*

I talked to a couple of…

POTD 04

Saturday, June 26, 2004 17:23 No Comments

omg.. Last night was incredible! We heard Abby Norml First. I didnt get to hear her whole set.. but from what I heard, I really dug her. Kinda atmospheric dnb.. right up my alley. Love. :) I’m going to pick up a cd soon to hear a whole set… I hope.. If I can find one. She was that good.

The next guy started at the top and went one by one thru the ‘DJ List’O Shit You Should Not Do’. Ugh.

Then, potd… *swoon*.. Dara, DieselBoy and AK1200 tag teamed all night rather than having separate sets. omg, it was heavenly. I danced my ass off all night. I was back in my element. smile.. Gods, it’s been so long.

Both Dieselboy and Dara have cds out that I dont have yet. They were successfully added to my wish list this afternoon :)

New Place

I’m so excited! Ryan and I went and put a hold on a 3 bedroom in Oceanside yesterday. I am SO in love with it! :) It’s more money but it’s a couple hundred square feet bigger - with storage and a patio to boot. Nice. The complex is really nice, the management was on top of stuff and did I mention the apartment was a lot bigger? :) We will have a washer and dryer - and a REAL oven (ours in this apartment is mini-sized which is annoying). Dishwasher, counter space.. and the kids rooms will be on the opposite side from ours.. smile.

Ordinary

Wednesday, June 23, 2004 7:45 No Comments

Oh to beautiful. The kind of beautiful that make’s someone’s heart stop. Anyone.. beautiful. But intoxicatingly so.

Oh to be funny. Witty. To see that part of life that funny people see and for people to smile simply by looking at me - in anticipation of how funny I would be.

Oh to be smart. Sharp. On top of the game, admirably smart. The kind of smart that makes someone say She’s one of the most intelligent people I know.’

Oh to be admired. Successful, motivated and wise. To have reached landmarks and pinnacles. To be looked up to and nodded at with a smile that says ‘Yes.. you are incredible’.

Sometimes, I am so ordinary.
